The working question
This drill set trains recognition using ordinary cards. It makes no claim about the features or bonus terms of a particular branded application.
Follow the sequence
- Deal three cards face up and name the category without comparing it to another hand.
- Add a second hand with the same category and explain the first rank that determines the result.
- Add a third hand from a higher category, even if its visible ranks look smaller.
- Shuffle and repeat only the comparisons you misclassified. Use a short written answer rather than a counter target.
A worked example
Example: 3♣ 3♦ 3♠ beats K♥ K♦ A♣ because a trail outranks a pair.
